Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership:

Develop and implement HR strategies that support our business objectives.
Collaborate with the executive team to provide strategic HR guidance.

Talent Acquisition and Management:

Design and oversee recruitment strategies to attract top global talent.
Implement effective onboarding programs to facilitate smooth transitions for new hires.
Develop processes for talent management and succession planning.
Employee Engagement and Culture:

Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Establish employee recognition programs to celebrate accomplishments.
Performance Management:

Develop and manage performance appraisal systems that encourage high performance.
Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related matters.
Implement training and development programs to help employees grow.
Compensation and Benefits:

Design competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Ensure compliance with local and international labor laws.
Conduct regular market analysis to maintain a competitive edge.
HR Operations:

Oversee HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and compliance.
Implement and manage HR systems and processes.
Ensure accurate HR data management and reporting.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):

Lead DEI initiatives to create a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Develop policies and practices that promote equal opportunities for all.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
Proven experience as a Chief People Officer or in a similar HR leadership role, ideally in a startup or fast-growing organization.
In-depth knowledge of the biotechnology and life sciences industries is essential; experience with service providers or CDMOs is a plus.
Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruitment, performance management, and HR operations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
Experience in international HR management is an advantage.
