The Role: We are currently recruiting a Data Analyst on behalf of a renowned creative agency. This role is crucial in turning data into insights that will drive strategic decisions and creative processes. The ideal candidate will engage in a variety of tasks from data collection and analysis to reporting and presenting findings, ensuring actionable insights for the agency’s projects and campaigns.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze data from primary and secondary sources, maintaining databases and data systems.
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
• Work directly with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Filter and “clean” data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
• Prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
• Collaborate with teams across the agency to support their data analysis needs and contribute to their projects.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Data Analysis or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with databases (SQL, etc.), programming (XML, Javascript, ETL frameworks), and statistical packages (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
• Ability to analyze large datasets and write comprehensive reports.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or related field.
